Small Size $1000 & $500 Federal Reserve Notes (FRN's) were printed for Series 1928, 1934 & 1934A.

The 1928 Series have the popular clause "Redeemable in Gold on Demand" printed on them and are much more rare than the 1934 & 1934A Series.

The $500 notes have William McKinley (25th President) printed on them and the $1000 notes have Grover Cleveland (22nd and 24th President) printed on them.

These regularly issued High Denomination notes were last printed in 1945 although they continued to circulate until 1969.
